You will be joining a well-respected Western Australian planning consultancy who take on a diverse range of projects relating to Urban Design and Town Planning.

This role is based in their Perth office, and requires the successful candidate to have Australian working rights.

Your new role

As a Senior Urban Planner, you will be responsible for leading the planning and design of urban development projects. You will work closely with clients, architects, and engineers to create sustainable and liveable urban environments.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead the planning and design of urban development projects.
• Prepare and present reports to clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other professionals, particularly the in-house Urban Designer.
• Ensure compliance with local planning regulations and standards.
• Work through master planning of communities, subdivisions, approvals processes, and scheme amendments.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning (or related qualifications).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in urban planning or related field.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, GIS, or similar.
